The runner-up of the American singing reality show 'American Idol', the young Nepali Arthur Gunn, namely Dibesh Pokharel, has arrived in Nepal. He arrived in Kathmandu on Wednesday afternoon. At Tribhuvan Airport, he was seen wearing a Nepali Dhaka Topi. Along with him, four other members of his band have also arrived in Kathmandu. Fans arrived at the airport to welcome them. He came to Nepal for the first time since he was the runner-up in the 2020 American Idol.

Pokharel has come to Kathmandu for a musical performance to be held next Saturday. It is said that he will give live musical performances in various cities of Nepal including Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, Butwal, and Dharan. The program is going to be held in collaboration with Tuborg Brain Servicing and MN Events. He is best known for his American Idol auditions where he sang Bob Dylan's 'Girl from the North Country', and Creedence Clearwater Revival's 'Have You Ever Seen the Rain'.
