The film will not be released in Maharashtra, India. The Maharashtra government has not yet given permission to open the hall. Actress Kangana Ranaut has urged the Maharashtra government to open the halls. The film will be released on OTT two weeks after its release in theaters. In this film, Kangana has played the role of Indian politician Jayalalithaa. The film has received high ratings from critics.
